MPH Concentration: Health Informatics and Analytics

Meet the Evolving Needs of Health Care With MPH@GW

The Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University has been training leaders in public health and health services administration since 1959.

As the needs of the health care landscape have evolved, so have our programs. The MPH@GW Health Informatics and Analytics concentration is designed to help meet the critical need for public health professionals who understand how information technology (IT), data and analytics are transforming the health care landscape.

Understand how clinical and administrative data are shaping health care delivery — virtually and in person — at local, state and national levels.

Examine how organizations — from public health institutions like the CDC to major companies like Amazon — collect, analyze and translate data.

Contextualize and meaningfully participate in the health informatics conversations or initiatives that are taking place in your own organization.
