Cost of Care for Family Caregiveres4 

  • 46% of family caregivers spent more than $5,000 each year in caregiving costs
  • 33% of family caregivers spent more than 30 hours per week on caregiving
  • 66% of family caregivers experienced care-related distractions, such as phone calls and e-mails, while working
  • 60% of family caregivers said caregiving duties had a negative effect on their jobs
