Top Medical Blogs for Public Health
The lines between public health and traditional medicine often blur as the two fields focus on common themes of health disparity identification, prevention and education. Many public health professionals attend medical school and find that staying abreast of changes in public health means staying current on what is happening in the medical field, too.
Each year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other groups with an emphasis on public health releases a list of trending public health issues for that year. While many problems remain from year to year, new and emerging issues must also be addressed to help public health professionals reach communities across the United States for better health.
Below are 50 medical blogs that focus on issues both old and new that form the backbone of a solid public health system and can offer public health professionals with valuable, accurate information. We welcome any additions to the list in the comments section.
